Due to the uniqueness-(and perhaps idiosyncracies) of the Bordeaux market and in particular the way the wines are purchased and sold throughout the world, Cellarmarque now lists them separately under the generic producer heading of "Bordeaux"-rather than under each producer. Bordeaux wine, aside of being bought by consumers for immediate drinking or laying down for future personal consumption, is increasingly now traded as a commodity for both personal collections as well as commercial investment purposes. As a result, vintages that are perceived no longer available suddenly come back to the market place. Cellarmarque lists a good cross section of wines and vintages, however this will keep changing due to the particular vagaries of this market.
